This certain abandoned waterpark at the Weirs in NH has been on my list for awhile, but this summer I finally got a group of friends together to go exploring! The park itself was abandoned in 2006, and suffered a fire later in 2016, so many of its larger buildings are gone, and all the slides removed.
That being said, there was still plenty to see! The wave pool acted as a hub for all the surrounding parts. The building that actually created the waves for the pool had some interesting machinery and power controls. To my surprise, not many taggers had hit the place!
To top it all off, there was a really beautiful sunset over the the lake

As a kid I always wanted my parents to take me here. As an adult, I have always wanted to explore it. Cool shots and that wave pool is terrifying.

Do it!! A lot of the slides are gone, which kinda stinks, but still a cool place for an afternoon of exploring. Also, if you do go, stand on the back wall of the wave pool. There are frogs there, and they have a lot to say

I use to love this water park when growing up. It is so weird to see it now, and remember what it was like in the mid 80's when I would visit there.
