Hey looking to try and shoot some clear shots of the Vancouver Celebration of Lights fireworks. Anyone willing to share some non-crowded vantage points?

I'd be interested in seeing any photos you got!

Ended up taking a shift at work :/ I have some pics of 4th of July @ Birch Bay, WA. Not really geared towards urbex stuff though. Anyone else go this year?

I ended up going, watched it with a friend from the Burrard Street bridge, absolutely packed with people but with a bench to stand on we got a decent view. At the end someone climbed down from the upper supports that go over the bridge, they totally had the right idea of how to get the best view

That sucks. If you're in any way a pyro and/or photographer it's worth a weekend trip. Sometimes they schedule the events on Thursday/Fridays. I am missing a memory card, but I have these from last year and a couple years when we got rained out. Birch bay is wild on 4th of July. There's a huge firework stand and they basically sell show grade pallets of fireworks to the public Birch bay 2 by . DNG, on Flickr Birch bay 1 by . DNG, on Flickr

Lucky. Did you get any photos? I mean at least they climbed it at night. Lots of tourists have climbed it during the day (the most recent I can think of was this incident https://bc.ctvnews...photo-op-1.3492074) and I've heard they've put up fencing on the obvious POEs :/ Jericho is a nice place to watch and shoot from if you have a long lens. Very minimal crowds. Just maybe not as dynamic as a rooftop angle ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
