It amazes me how these people basically “dig their own grave” by gloating about what they have done on public networks. I mean those tweets are something else. It doesn’t take much to put two and two together. It’s almost like people forget this is trespassing in reality. Imagine filming yourself robbing and bank and posting it all over YouTube “ROBBED A BANK! COPS CAME”

Right there with you. The fact that the tweets remained online long enough for them to (likely) be gathered as evidence really says something about the type of character being dealt with here.
In the end, it worked out for him: he got the attention he wanted. His time in the spotlight is now. I'll even go so far as to say I'm happy he and his crew are getting the spotlight they are getting. Makes it all the easier to keep these vandals from damaging other historic places.
Would be nice if this kind of thing acted as an effective deterrent for others damaging sites, but such is.

I would also like to repeat: He does not care about you, me, UER, locations. He does not care about likes, thumbs up, thumbs down, positive comments, negative comments. Not to split hairs, a person is innocent until proven guilty in a COURT OF LAW. This isn't a court of law, this is a public forum where we can discuss current events as they pertain to UE. We are expressing personal opinions, not presenting facts in a court room.
I suspect our credibility will remain intact when he is found guilty. Yours, however...
