I was recently in Rockford, IL and got the chance to explore an old glue factory there. It's been a solid three months since I last set foot in an abandoned factory, so about two and a half months too long in my opinion- making this visit as refreshing as the air in the basement wasn't. 1.

Glue factories always make me think about poor Boxer. Why'd they get us to read such a thing as Freshmen?
Nice set of photos. Another neat location!

We didn't know the name, just that it was used for glue and toy production. There were still some old toys and paper airplanes all over the basement.
You're not weird if you're not normal. |

yea i thought that looked familiar. That place is a good explore. Boring as you move upstairs, but the basement has some cool stuff.

Mind editing the name out of your post? I know it's an empty shell with nothing left worth stealing for even the most desperate scrapper, but I'd still rather not call it out by name on a public thread.

I tried but I guess I can't after 24 hours of posting. I'll keep that in mind for the future though.

Cool! I thought they were doing renovations in there. I must have been thinking of another building. I bet that is where my friend did her photo shoots. It looks very familiar.
