I saw the thread about this location a month ago. People mainly mentioned how difficult it was to get in due to the very active security team. As soon as I read that I knew we had to take the challenge. I decided to post a new thread because of the amount of work we put in for this location (also because people rarely post). These photos were taken across 2 different nights.
On June 15, 1937, this factory made its first glass bottle, a 32-Oz amber Clorox bottle. Shortly after its construction it was praised for its architecture and design. To quote a 1938 issue of Architect and Engineer “The attractive and useful combination of glass blocks and terra cotta wall units is exemplified in these interiors”.
By 2001 it was one of the countries largest glass container manufacturing facilities producing primarily wine bottles, however, sometime in 2015 it made its last glass container.
An application was submitted to the city for the demolition of the 26-acre lot in 2017 but it doesn’t look like it has been approved just yet. Although there is some significant construction going on now, mainly clearing out the buildings.

Our adventure starts with us having to sneak past this security checkpoint. At the time it looked like nobody was inside, however, on our way out I decided to peek in and there was someone fast asleep in a chair.

Once inside we were greeted by this massive room filled with nothing but columns.

Eventually though, we found what we were looking for.

After having not seen any sign of security for at least an hour we started to get more comfortable. That was about to change however...

It was at this point, right outside of the cafeteria, we realized the security here just might live up to its name. We had found a security station set up for a guard who patrols the area.

After another hour or so of not seeing any more signs of security though, we were just about to think that maybe they're no longer here. That's when one of us just so happened to look outside a window and see a car pull up, forcing us to sneak out the way we came.
Our second night started off very similar, with us not seeing any security for an hour or two. But this time we almost ran into a guard patrolling. He somehow did not see us and we managed to sneak around him.
This place is without a doubt, one of my favorite spots now, but I cannot emphasize enough, this location is very difficult to get into and even more difficult to not get caught inside. It is not for the faint of heart and definitely not for beginners. Honestly, unless you enjoy Solid Snaking your way around security, I probably wouldn't recommend it.

Nice pictures! I’ve got to wonder how much the power bill is to keep the lights on there given that it sounds like only security ever takes advantage of them.

Thank you guys for all the replies. It's been awhile since I've been on this site last because of life but my goal is to be more active again.
