And next… some cars. First one was lucky find. I was searching for one map find. It did take quite long walk through forest, so it was bit disappointing find that yeah, it was obviously been abandoned for years if not even decades, but also locked. Then, when I already were walking away, my eyes did spot something… is there? And there was. Old Lada! Those russian… well, U. S. S. R. made cars were pretty popular in Finland at '70s and even '80s because they were cheap and for some people it was even political thing.

And then… it was another saturday. I didn’t have too much time but need to get photographing. I did decide to do short trip to local cars. This old Fiat in first two pictures was new for me. Well, I’ve been looking it for years but without getting never closer. Now it was time. And I’m happy that I did: that small car is probably only thing that still keeps that barn standing!

Then I did continue my journey to abandoned farm… where I did shoot only cars at this time. Not too many photos from there.

And finally I did find myself from that abandoned farm, which is pretty much at the side of my hometown, if not even in it.

And today’s off-topic-bonus-picture continues today’s theme. My girlfriend did get ill, she did get really hard car fever. After day or two she did spot this ’85 Ford LTD Brougham with 3,8 litres V6 engine, and after two days we did go and get it. It was bring to Finland from States at ’90s, and since then… just one owner with not too much driving (he did got 10 other cars too, including ’50s Cadillac convertible!), so it still have been driven not more than 88 000 miles! It’s also museum registered, so you can believe it is in pretty good condition. Even that paint is still original. It wasn't cheap, but as so far I think it was worth it. It's my girlfriend’s first OWN car – so far I’ve been owner all the time, so that is way to start. We both love it alredy… much:

I wonder same too, actually I did already years ago when I did photograph that barn far and from another direction. And still it some how stands there.
