The closest I'll ever be to exploring a fantasy dungeon! |

I'd rather see some shots of shoes after you've been exploring in them for a while. Asbestos covered nastiness.

Well broke in...
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

DDR NVA Jackboots About 20 years ago, I picked up 6 pair for $50 (US). The first pair lasted about 10 years with daily wear. The second pair are just done for. I even wear them to the office and no notices. They slip on and easily which is helpful with the TSA shtick at the airport.

Oh boy. I'm going to get a lot of stern talking to's because I explore in open-toed Chacos.

*giggle* Pics of asbestos in between your toes or it never happened

Don't have a picture of them available but I go with my trusty Xtra Tufs. Pretty much just some fancy brown rain boots.

All of your feet need to toughen up. This is what I wear.

I've had a couple nails and once while hiking in the desert a piece of bush grass penetrate my boot sole. Felt them but never got injured. That piece of tough straw was the hardest to pull out. Puncture Resistant Insoles, Flexible Stainless Steel Plate, Meets ASTM ... Used with work shoes and boots... firefighters use 'em.

Is that when you're wearing anything at all?
RIP Blackhawk |

This is what I actually wear most of the time. Construction worker safety shoes that can pass as dress shoes.

|
Basically desert combat boots or whatever I have on my feet.
