I'd rather see some shots of shoes after you've been exploring in them for a while. Asbestos covered nastiness.

DDR NVA Jackboots

About 20 years ago, I picked up 6 pair for $50 (US). The first pair lasted about 10 years with daily wear. The second pair are just done for.

I even wear them to the office and no notices. They slip on and easily which is helpful with the TSA shtick at the airport.

Oh boy. I'm going to get a lot of stern talking to's because I explore in open-toed Chacos.

Every time you read this, I become more powerful.

Don't have a picture of them available but I go with my trusty Xtra Tufs.

Pretty much just some fancy brown rain boots.

I've had a couple nails and once while hiking in the desert a piece of bush grass penetrate my boot sole. Felt them but never got injured.
That piece of tough straw was the hardest to pull out.

This is what I actually wear most of the time.

Construction worker safety shoes that can pass as dress shoes.
