~ 93 Years ~

Few weeks ago I did see some new photos from this 93 year old hydro-powerplant. So at one beautiful, summer like evening it was time to return there. And must say that after two years since my last visit, it was pretty annoying experience. Lot have been done since then, like ALL glasses and indicator lights have been broken from that great control panel… and lot of chaos all around of course. Once again I did wonder why people have to be so fucking stupid always.

Anyway, at same time it was also amazing. That old building is still so beautiful, and that still working generator below that building with so low sound that you don’t just hear it, you also feel it. Over two hours I did spent there, and here are results.

End of Old Days:

Turning to Chaos:

Tears of Rust:

Once it Were Different:

Electric Alley:

Rusting in Oblivion:

Colors:

Getting Old:

Cast-Iron DNA:

Steampunk Dream:

Endless Wait:

Broken and Alone:

----

And with today’s off-topic-bonus-stupid-photo I shall take you back to this year’s first trip to Paradise:

That’s it and this post end’s here. Cheers!

Industrial awesomeness, you've done it again; great set! It is sad to see how some jacknut morons just can't appreciate the natural decay of a place, without having to leave their mark of mindless destruction.
"Tears of rust" is a perfect caption...as is "cast iron DNA for that sweet staircase. Great bonus shot as well, I really enjoy fog/mist shots.
Happy weekend to you, Sir, and cheers! 😀

And again... I'm quite speechless. Makes me always pretty humble when someone says something like that... I mean it's so easy to publish this shit over and over again and just think that someone may look them, or probably not - without thinking that there are people that relly look these. Anyway, that is probably my favorite one of these too. Good taste there. Thank you very much - this Absinthe with Ed goes for you.

Wow to you. I always think that people must be so filled with my shots - especially because I keep retaking same photos again and again and again, year after year and now even decade after decade. So you can wonder how nice it feels to see that there is people who seems to be filled with same madness. Thank you very, very much!

Bloody hell, this saturday did start not so good: horrible headache like I often do as saturday when work week stress goes away. But now it's gone, I'm drunk and we are probably going to get new old car tomorrow - my girlfriend did spot '85 Ford LTD Broughman which is registered as museum car... not cheap but not expensive either and she did fall in love it immediately. Hmmm, maybe bit off from topic but... blaim drunkness.

Anyway, those stairs are just... how they were able to do something like that over 90 years ago and today..? Just simple shit. And what comes to that caption, it did pop into my head right there. Something similar there, I suppose.

And I'm happy about those mist shots too! Hopefully this summer will be better than few last have been... but now I already have second trip behind, and it was zero photo trip so... we'll see.

Thank you very much, and cheers too!

Bloody hell, second "I'm pretty speechless" moment here. You have concentrate good things... so you have excellent taste. Thank you very much, and next absinthe shot goes for You!

P. S. Don't tell anyone, but next weekend we will return to abandoned farm houses and yes: it's photographed many times before, so it's really back to basics kind of thing there.

cast iron dna , well done

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.
