I went to check out the silos last weekend. It looks like all the ways in have been fortified. What looks like the main way in is fenced off and topped with razor wire. And while we were trying to figure it out a guard got us. I’m not giving up though. Any updates appreciated

PS Heres what i got anyways. I was able to get into the first layer of fencing/razorwire, but not into the motherload1.

Predawning it might work better... but after in sit tight at a safe place for daybreak. Every step counts...

Most silos are pretty cool inside, or at least fun to climb. Depending on if it's lit or not, you could try going at night. This would be pointless and dangerous if it was lit because of how obvious you'd be, but could make it much easier to get in if it's not lit. Look for windows and ladders. A razor wire fence could often be easier to go under than over. Get to know the place, then go for it.
And to continue the trend

I've been having the same problems with photo uploads, all of the photos from my iPhone upload sideways to UER (even though they show right side up on the phone itself) it seems to be an error in coding or something behind the scenes.
just food for thought...

Yeah, Sometimes technology helps too much. Newer cameras generally use an Exif Orientation tag to tell the device how to display the photo. The orientation as you view the photo on your device is not how it's actually stored in memory. The UER uploader software doesn't know about the orientation flag, so it uploads the file exactly as it is stored. You can use photo editing software to rotate the actual image to the proper orientation, then upload the photo. Pain in the butt, but it's how it needs to be done. I often run into the problem when I take landscape shots with my cell phone. I have to rotate the picture before I can upload it to a hosting site. Abby Normal

Yeah they were all right side up in my phone. I wasn’t sure how to fix that.

I'm sorry, had to add my own $0.02 to the running gag...seriously, these are some good pics. Number seven is pretty creepy, but it works! Good luck with future attempts; a predawn would likely be the best option, as Blackhawk says...be careful, stay safe, and happy exploring!

After looking again, the 1st pic looks like it might be a scale or hopper. If it's a hopper then there has to be a way for it to connect to the silos, so that could be an entrance. Just a thought. And you might want a mask for the smells, silos can be pretty disgusting.

I have to 2nd this, and should have said something sooner - wasn't trying to be a dick, rather it was a gentle friendly jab. Some seem to have problem with the sideways pics - you are certainly not the only one. Enjoyed the pics, and enjoy your efforts even more - keep it up!

This is the latest relevant thread I could find regarding the silos so I thought I would share my recent trip here. All in all successful day no issues with anything, nice to see the change in paint over the months. #1
