Trashed Spots

Stopped by a familiar local this weekend - didn't get much, as it has been completely trashed. Looked like someone had collected every piece of paper in the building, covered the hallway floor with them, and then set them on fire.

Also - there was yarn everywhere. Couldn't figure out why until we saw the pair of birds that had made an upstairs classroom their home. Apparently they were playing some kind of game where they would fly out an upper window carrying yarn, then deposit it through a different window like they were creating some kind of elaborate art project. Wish I had gotten a better picture of their creation!

Bonus shot: This was another old friend we decided to visit this weekend - also has been destroyed. Our only POE was through the (decidedly haunted) basement where the bottom of the staircase was completely missing.

I'm almost stunned that first building is still standing, that place has gone SHARPLY down hill.

It's definitely been turned into a party spot, but structurally speaking, it looked/felt pretty sound.

If you recognize the second location, now THAT is somewhere that is about to collapse. We were in and out, and I felt very uncomfortable. When we walked around to the back (outside) my husband actually said "holy shit - I don't even feel safe standing next to this place right now."
