A long overdue trip to a couple of buildings at a state hospital blew me away. I had no idea this place would be so impressive, and had nearly everything I was looking for. The administration building was split in two portions. There was an active portion and an abandoned portion. This meant there was merely a breezeway between active and abandoned, and if you were close enough you could hear people in the active portion. I had to remain extremely careful throughout the trip but all in all it was worth it. The more interesting building on campus was one of the patient buildings. This building had obviously been abandoned for a very long time and had lots of things still left inside. My trip was cut short by daylight, as I needed to get home before it got too dark, and I had many hours of driving between the campus and home. 1 by pearson, on Flickr 2 by pearson, on Flickr 3 by pearson, on Flickr 4 by pearson, on Flickr 5 by pearson, on Flickr 6 by pearson, on Flickr 7 by pearson, on Flickr 8 by pearson, on Flickr 9 by pearson, on Flickr Thanks for viewing!

Beautiful light in this set! Awesome photos and location!

Thank you for not naming this. Good job getting in. I went with permission in 2014 when I worked for the state. Not sure how accessible the others are without permission unfortunately.

I've done buildings at one other state hospital here, I want to at least try as many as I can.

Great set! Peely paint, lonely wheelchair, and old equipment, gotta love a hospital! In pics 1 & 2, is that the remains of an old mural on the wall? Awesome job on a semi-active 'splore! I did one a few months ago, had a good run til a cop noticed me outside and asked me to leave...

There were murals in a lot of the buildings, it looked like they were of the campus. Thanks! It was a thrilling one for sure.
