Are you looking because you're a minor yourself..? If so, it might help to post a photo of some ID and redact (use photoshop or something to black out) your name, eyes/hair, eye/hair colour, signature and the DAY of your birthdate, leaving the month and year visible. Feel free to PM me if you need some help.

I sure hope you're a minor yourself if you're gonna be asking this. And if you are, don't use the word minor. Being a minor myself, I can understand some of the possible "struggles". But you also have to understand the risk that you're giving to the people you explore with. Getting caught with a minor could turn bad, and having a minor could make it more likely to get caught because of a lack of experience or physical abilities. Try exploring by yourself or with friends first, and try to become more of this community before you just ask something like that.

This guy is trolling, nothing more. Note for the future, try not to openly advertise yourself as being underage.

Ya Im a minor its just like I only had one friend that was willing to do this shit so I'm just looking for other minors cause I'm aware of the legal consequences that comes with exploring with someone over the age of 19.

Why? Whats wrong with being underage?

I think the theory here ("I am ____ so looking to find others that area ____ so as not to put anyone in a risky scenario") is fine in theory, but so is Communism, in theory. lol The benefits of finding peeps who satisfy that requirement may/not be worth the drawbacks of posting publicly that you are legally a minor and looking to meet people from the internet.. Like by itself that's a wee bit sketch. If someone messages you and says "I'm sixteen" how do you know? You'd need to BOTH show redacted proof or have a video chat to confirm before you meet up. I'm all for exploring and I agree that looking among your friend group(s) might be the best way to start; all of us have at some point looked at our friends and SO's and thought "damn, nobody wants to do this with me" and it sucks! You would be surprised how many situations you can get yourself into (in a good way) while alone, and still being safe. Explore with only curiosity and let someone know where you are, build your confidence and your skills of research and finding POEs so you will be an asset to anyone you find down the road who does wish to explore with you. For now be safe, vet anyone who is also a minor and meet at a coffee shop or somewhere public to start. Consider going for fries and milkshakes or something to chat about your goals and ideas before you head off into an abandoned oil refinery with someone you barely know. ;) Take care of yourself, develop good habits and friends, and you will have a long an successful UE career.

Perhaps if you posted something about yourself and stated you're looking for fellow explorers in your age group this may have been better received. I clicked on this post only because I read the title and thought WTF?
Ambivalent? Well yes and no |

Than why not post your age with your user info? WYSIWYG Billboarding it like this may cause one question your motives... Even if you're over 21 trust here is earned. Start by posting pics and contributing in a positive way on the forum over time. These are reasonable, safe and the best first steps to take here when beginning.

Indeed. When I started as a kid, single digits, most of my splores were alone. The only people I shared these with latter were trusted friends. You need to know the person who has your back...
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |
