If anyone this weekend is interested in 3 abandoned Nike missile bases in the north hills of Pittsburgh hit me up. Got lots of great info and will be visiting 2 today (if all are still intact cuase google maps in the area is a lil out of date) Wish me luck

No bro there's a base like 2 miles away maybe that's still abd. It's fenced and under ownership by a nearby school. Set to be leveled for baseball fields in the near future so that's why I went. Pm me if ya wanna see my vid on it

One Nike "base" consists of several parcels -- some of them adjacent & thus people think of them as one installation, but often times they're separated by around a mile or so -- the Integrated Fire Control site where the RADARS & Control activity took place, the Launch Battery, where the missiles were stored/launched, and then an Administrative Area, with offices, barracks/housing recreational facilities. /-/ooligan
