The company was founded in 1869, and the building was built around 1888 when the company relocated to its current location. They closed in the mid 80s and has sat abandoned since. The town is talking about demolition and making a park on the grounds. This was considered Plant #1 or the "Lower Plant"

Its a nice building, I hope they'll find a use for it. Must be cavernous inside.
