Veterans to the hobby and locals to the area will know this one well, it did the rounds years ago.
It only took me 7 years to finally get there, the one attempt I made years ago was a bust so recently while in the area I decided to just take a walk around and I was happy to have found a way in and I had my gear with me.
It is a busted shell of what it used to be and to me the main feature, as you will see below, was the main staircase.
The bar that used to stand in the lobby is gone and the main floor is riddled with sawdust and plywood as well as other riff raff.
The basement is flooded and the main floor reeks of rotten eggs from the sulphur springs that the building was built upon.

Interesting place. The stairs are very nice. Number 13 (a view from the top) is my fave.

Best photos of this spot I've seen. I was inside about 12 or 13 years ago, and it has seen much better days. I often hoped that they'd do something interesting with the spot, but I imagine it's past the point of no return, now.
