This was a hell of a place. But, if you want to just see the castle, skip to picture 16. This spot was built over a century ago to be a military outpost to defend the city of Atlanta. In some of the pictures you can still see the old fashion building techniques as well as the newer techniques in the sections built more recently. There's much more to explore than just what I photographed here and surprisingly a lot of the place isn't tagged. I'll have to go back soon because, sadly, the place is being redeveloped so this gem may not be around much longer. At least some people are enjoying it while it lasts (see picture 8). 1.

Here's a quick picture of one of the buildings next to the castle. 1.
2. If you plan on visiting, be warned that the adjacent buildings to the castle are full of trash, shit, dead animals and all sorts of crap you won't want to make contact with your body.

I was just in there a couple of weeks ago, been meaning to check it out. Didn't feel like I got many worthwhile photos except for these two. 1.

Driving from Atlanta to Dallas 6/6 - 6/14, from Dallas to Chicago 6/14 - 6/20, from Chicago to Atlanta 6/20 - 6/29 with many stops in between. If you wanna meet up and shoot, drop me a line. |

People really will bone anywhere they can huh? Love the shots and the humor. Hope you can go back before redevelopment.

It's hard to get an encompassing shot of the entrance, let me know if you want to go back some time before the redevelop it again with me and 6ozy. We're looking for something to do soon.

Sadly nothing in Atlanta of any architectural or historical value seems to stand in the way of pushing in high density housing. I want to slam my face on the concrete every time I think about it. ugh............ Thanks for sharing the pics you got! Gross about the condom - but at least someone like that isn't cloning their genes....small mercies....small mercies....

I’d be down if you are up for a new exploring buddy. The sooner, the better!
