Is the snowdon theatre sealed up? I found it on google maps when i was just searching around for buildings and I walked by it and around it a couple of times, never really trying deeply to find an entrance (since there were houses I could've gotten caught.) It seems the windows and doors are boarded up but I'm wondering if it's sealed up completely

Seems the current owner's purchase "is conditional on the new owner preserving the historic facade of the building" - 05feb18: https://montrealga...on-theatre-is-sold If that still holds true, the new condos will at least include the original facade....

good sign considering when it was saved from demolition in the 80s a lot of work went into that marquee

It will indeed be turned into condos. I've actually worked on the engineering side of the project, and can confirm that the main façade will be preserved, That's about it, the rest will be demolished.

I looked there last year and it was sealed up pretty tight. Would love to get inside this one before it gets modernized.

Unfortunately too late for that. Demolition has already started.
