Ghost Stories, Experiences, etc.

I'm a student at the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!), and I'm actually in a very interesting English class "Inquiry into the Paranormal and the Supernatural." I had no idea that was the subject of the course before taking it, however, it was a pleasant surprise. I'm definitely a skeptic when discussing the supernatural, but I love horror and gothic themes so it's always interesting to me.
I was wondering if any fellow explorers had any ghost stories they'd like to share? Or old articles/letters and weird things you've found, etc. Basically, anything that relates to the paranormal?
Thanks, and happy exploring!

None.

Ghosts only exist in your mind.

Our eyeballs are 2-way. If you desire to see a ghost your brain will create one, send it to your eyeballs where it will bounce back to your brain...

Yeap. The only ghost stories I have are people I scared out of the Pennhurst tunnels because they believed in ghosts...

The only thing that's happened to me is hearing footsteps in a stairwell, because there were other people in the building. Nothing eerie or supernatural but a believer would probably say it was a ghost or something. This site probably isn't the best for trying to get stories like that.

Thanks for that. Made for some compelling, yet coffee spitting reading this morning. I particularly like his UER smear on his Lord Douche site:
http://paranormalg...bs%20Adversity.htm

PSG investigators arrested = none
UER member arrested = over 50

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! What a great and powerful Lord to take down soooo many UER'ers! For the record, his crappy flash-happy website hasn't been updated since 2007. I damn near had a seizure just viewing it - reminds me of Homer Simpson's gif filled website. His PSG Facebook page appears to just be a personal page now. What an EPIC douchenozzle this guy was!

Thanks for the morning laughs!

Give abandonment a reason for its sacrificial reclamation to nature. Love it. Remember it. Take a picture. Share it. Leave the decay to nature.

I don't believe in that crap at all. Back when the Weston State Hospital was abandoned and before it became the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum tourist attraction I got in a couple of times and it involved me getting into the basement early morning when it was still dark and waiting there for the sun to come up so I could see to get around (it was actively patrolled on the inside so flash lights were a big no). So I always felt that if there were anything to see/feel I would have experienced it in the basement of and insane asylum at 4:30 in the AM. Now on the flipside a lot of people do believe in that type of stuff and it is big business. Lots of places offer paranormal tours and there are numerous TV shows based on ghost stories, etc.

Everyone has a dark side, mines just a little more illuminated.

I've been trolling random abandoned buildings for longer than I care to admit, and I've never seen anything.

Abandoned hospital in my town- used to get in there day, night, during storms (the best time actually). Spent hours at a time in there alone, sometimes in the pitch black basement wondering around with a flashlight. Never saw a thing, never felt frightened.

The only thing I can think of that could even be construed as paranormal is once on the battleship USS North Carolina, I was wandering around taking some pics with my (at the time) state of the art Sony Mavica FD. At a certain stairway, the camera presented an error message akin to "battery not recognized" and shut off. I had never seen that message before, and I kept using that camera for random things for another 10 years and never saw it again.

I think most "ghost" experiences are the result of confirmation bias. The same hospital I spent literal days in snooping around was loudly proclaimed to be "haunted" by a "paranormal research" group who spent two hours in it on a Saturday night.

I actually work in a hospital now that is supposedly haunted on a certain floor. Never seen anything there either.

Lol, he's already made a ghost out of one of his followers.
He was killed walking down a road at night with Lord Rick to a cemetery by a car in Florida... while ghost hunting

Beware of the mullet man.
