so, uh, about seven years ago i found a bag full of colored balls in an an abandoned asylum. i went into this untouched corridor and my friend took photos of me dropping them on my head, i didn't think much of it.
a few months later, photos of the balls in the hallway started popping up on flickr from other users...
under one of the photos, the comments really caught my eye, people seemed to find the balls i dropped on my head really haunting "like the ghost children are not far away"
eventually more photos started popping up, this time people dragged in a wheelchair to really amp up the creepiness factor
then the instagram generation found the location, and graffiti and a gurney joined the party.

that's all i got for now, i've been taking screencaps of this for years, i can't wait to see what it looks like next year. also, instagram destroyed urban exploration. thanks.
ps. if you have any photos of the hallway, please post them for the sake of history.
I like that you have all the stereotypical Instagram shots represented here: an attractive woman with lots of filters, people in weird masks, people playing with fire, and the always popular long exposure of a sparkler.

I had a hearty laugh before I even saw the pictures you were describing. After having seen them I was just surprised how accurate that description was.
This is pretty wild! In the 2nd to last pic within the flame, I can see an optical illusion; either a woman (to the left) with her hair blowing back, holding a roundish object in front of her, or a man (to the right) holding a woman (or girl) in front of him...was that intentional or just a random coincidence? (I can't be the only one who saw it, but I can't dismiss the possibility that it's just my own goofy perception 😜) Anyway, this is a pretty cool set, I always end up finding a discarded toy on explores, finding this would be odd, but a great photo op...sucks that the insta-you-face-twitts see fit to destroy sites and hinder our hobby, but what can ya do? Thanks for sharing, looks like quite a journey for this place.

I'll see your Captain Kangaroo and raise you one Soupy Sales: “I took my wife to a baseball game — I kissed her on the strikes, and she kissed me on the balls.”
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.
Haha this is classic. So many basic explorers out there these days. I used to get so excited when I would bump into others inside places. Now I don't even acknowledge them most of the time.
this is amazing, from start to finish. instagram is fucking nuts, a lot of the shit on there is just flat out stupid (playing with fire, steel wool, sparklers) and the masks just make you look like a dumbass.
