Not true. I have a very close group of people who I explore with. I try to help them out as much as possible. If I escape from security or police, and my crew is still trapped inside, I go back in to make sure everyone is out. I've done that three times, once while a security truck was circling an abandoned power plant. The other two times alarms were going off, and the police were on their way.
My first loyalty in the urbex community is my crew, my local community, myself, and then everyone else.
We have a very positive urbex community in Chicago. While its not drama-free, we mostly all support one another. We build each other up, rather than tear people down. And I am very proud to be a part of that community. And we don't like haters in Chicago either. We give em the finger, and continue to do our own thing. And thats one of the reasons why explorers from out of state have a great time when they come to Chicago. We aint bout that petty bullshit. We're urbexing too much to have time for that drama.
