Here are some photos I took of an abandoned mall. I am my own worst critic when it comes to my photography and videos, and therefore I will say that these are quite mediocre. However, the mall was cool so I thought I'd share. My crew and I had to run from security twice in the afternoon, and my crew and I had to escape after an alarm went off at night. I tried to pack as light as possible, as we wanted to stay mobile because of all the security guards walking around. I did not bring a tripod for the night shots as a result.

Looks like a cool place! You should probably give the security a bit of a break for a higher chance of success. The composition in the first shot was good but yeah definitely bad quality from the screenshot. Try lighting scenes from points other than the camera when doing shots like that. That way it isn't just a lit foreground and black background. Experiment and see what works. I'll use a bag or a ledge to set my camera on if I really need something in place of a tripod.
All that the Youtube video thumbnail is missing is a giant red arrow pointing at something not at all relevant and you have completed the clickbait holy trinity.
Now now, I have seen some great photography and good exploration videos come out of abandoned malls, and I'm sure most of y'all have as well. This thread presents neither, but I don't think that's the fault of the location. It didn't ask to be poorly portrayed by a click-hungry attention whore.

Filming yourself, exactly how you got in, faces of everyone in your "crew", leaving the name of the hospital visible, and posting it all on a public video is such a wonderful idea! Surely nobody has ever been caught this way and no location has ever been ruined by this! Also I'm sure any authority figure will appreciate you linking their incident report with exactly what happened on a publicly viewable video.
A lot of the dumb cheesy humor can go, doesn't really appeal to me (and perhaps the rest of the UER community haha).
Also, don't hate on security and companies that try to board up locations, they're just doing their jobs. Just because they may not have done a good job boarding up the place doesn't mean you can just say "Fuck You" to them. I'm sure they would be delighted to come back and make sure you and everyone else can't get in which ruins the fun. Same with accidentally slipping the name of locations, that's how places get sealed or heavily vandalized.
