Made a trip out this weekend to the Occoneechee speedway. Beautiful and relaxing. Since the track has been turned into a walkway it's maintained by local bodies and kept very clean. Still it's interesting to see some aspects of NC's stock car racing history.

I think we are looking at a 1949 Dodge Custom Club Coupe. Very cool. Love the split window. Nice share - thanks!
Give abandonment a reason for its sacrificial reclamation to nature. Love it. Remember it. Take a picture. Share it. Leave the decay to nature.

I go here frequently to run, it's a cool spot and it runs right by the Eno
It's pretty cool that they put that newer blue car (that you can go inside) on the trails within the last couple years, but I've seen the car's condition deteriorate a lot since when I was first went. The most frustrating thing is that people like to roll the windows down and not roll them back up and then it gets infested with bugs and it's ruined for everyone.
