Status on a NOVA location?

Hi y'all,
I've had my eye on a certain jet fuel testing place (something like that) in northern VA. Hopefully this is enough info for people to know the spot without giving it away. I read somewhere that it was going to be developed soon. I live a shortish drive away so it seems like a cool place to check out. Also let me know if anyone has pictures because if they're just a bunch of empty houses and garages then I probably won't go.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, I went once and enjoyed it. It's huge and has a ton of buildings, and we probably only saw about 1/3 of them. However, so other friends went a couple different times after that and had to dodge security, just FYI (you're exposed in open fields 90 percent of the time there).

I haven't seen any redevelopment plans for it, and not sure if they could due to the issues with the soil? If you go, go early in the year. It was invested with ticks...everywhere.

Thanks for the info. I remember reading a report from the EPA that their cleanup was completed but I can't find it anymore. About the redevelopment, I think I saw a thread on Fairfax Underground about it but who knows how trust worthy that is.

I think I'll check it out sometime soon. I have family up that way so that'll be a good excuse to get out and do it.

Yeh, FFU isn't very reliable.

Be careful around the front area. There's usually some unmarked SUVs sitting up there.

Street view showed some suspicious cars outside in all but one of the years they went by it. I've got a POE planned out to hopefully avoid security but I'll see once I'm there.

I am fairly certain I know where this is. Where you ever able to get in? Seems like there are quite a lot of buildings to check out at this location, and I am interested in going here, but that fence does make it seem difficult
