Shot on Nikon D3300

Take nothing but Nazi VHS tapes, leave nothing but footprints, drink nothing but Dos Equis. Stay thirsty my friends.

Great subject.
Poor framing and not being squared off makes it look like the room is being sucked into a black hole.

I enjoyed critiquing this

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

I get why you shot it wide. There's a lot of interesting things to see.
The floor perspective hurts though. Straight lines would have given this scene what it deserves. And if you could have positioned yourself without the pipe on the right cluttering the shot. Colors look good (a little green but maybe that adds to the industrialness), soft glow from clock is nice, and at full res, lots in focus to look around at.

Unfortunately I didn't have a wide enough lens to capture both clock faces at once. This is the best I could do. Is this photo better or worse than my original post?

I think the framing of the mechanism itself is bad here. I cut it off at the top.
