Places around Denver
< on 1/8/2019 7:52 PM >
Posted on Forum: UER ForumQuote
I know its gonna be tough to find places in the city to explore, but maybe there are ghost towns in the mountains not too far from the Denver area. I've only found 2 places, both cabins and one has since been torn down. I'm looking to branch out from houses. Something like a school or a church would be really cool

You have 2 posts here now in 2 months both asking for locations.
No pics or any other interaction except for maybe PMs. You are a complete unknown here.
Best to come to a strangers table bearing food.

In general members take a dim view of asking for locations especially if they have used their time and energy to find them.
There are places everywhere but it's up to you to take the time and risk to find and access them.
The information and tools members are most likely to give are to help you do that.
You have the posted resources here that are publicly viewable as well.
I started exploring over half a century ago. There was no name for, no internet, not even books or mags about it that I ever saw. Scouted out all my sites the hard way.
I learned by doing as have many here.

I suggest you read as many of the threads here as possible. Posts pics of your splores and actively participate in threads here that interest you. That is the best ways to find exploring companions here and it generally takes time and active participation here.

It's a two way street; do you really want to go to a remote place with a complete stranger you met on a website?
A saner choice is the large group get togethers you can attend from time to time in various areas.
If you can do one those it might be worth the effort.

Haha! Cops have better things to do, especially in a city as big as Denver. Forget I asked, I'll post pictures when I actually find something

I'd trade Milwaukee for Colorado and the bandos, drains, and the metric shit ton of ghost towns in the surrounding mountains any day..... Google bitch is a loose dirty whore, and she's not the least bit quiet about it either... nudge nudge wink wink....

I am no longer posting mockery and general douchbaggery on these threads that seem to pop up weekly, sometimes several times a week. I dropped this on another thread, now it is a blanket template in a .txt file to be cut and pasted every time this question is asked. I'll include a post count each time was well, because well I can't go douchebagless, and it takes little douche-creativity. Anyhoo, this:

You can find everything you need about exploring *insert your location here* right here:
http://www.uer.ca/...d=1&threadid=83700

When you are done exploring that, I would recommend reading up here:
http://www.uer.ca/...1&fid=1&currpage=1

And here:

Welcome, good luck, and stay safe....

Bah-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!
Those are all dead links because you can't cut and paste the truncated hyperlinks.
You have to cut and paste from the original post before the links were truncated ie previewed.

This is the second time these dead links were posted
