Last month I checked out what's left of the Nike Missile M-74 Launcher Area. The M-74 Site was once one of 8 Nike Missile Sites surrounding/protecting Milwaukee during the Cold War. Not much is left here, DOD destroyed a lot before turning it over to the city. All that remains are concrete slabs and this building, which was the Crew Quarters, and had a garage area to store the LCT (Launch Control Trailer). While this is technically publicly accessible, it's frowned upon to visit. I had written permission from the city.

Welcome to UER 'Nike Missile Base' would have been better if you want to protect that site. Takes only a seconds to find exactly where this is. See all the search spiders looking for something to eat: https://uer.ca/online/
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |
