A sampling of some of the cool stuff I saw this year across 15 states this year. The most exploring I have ever done. By no means every location, just a collection of some of my favorites. *EDIT* This should have been posted in UE Photography, not UE Main. I know better. Sorry! 1.

I hope my 2019 is as productive as your '18 was, looks like you got a lot of places in!
Hey, you got around! I'm glad you got to see 4 before it was fully demolished.
Ahhh, peely paint, abandoned vehicles, creepy baby doll, even a lone forgotten nighty...looks like a great bunch of explores! I like that polite note in pic 3...I had my own encounter with bats this year (it ended well, but at least I was already in a hospital, even if it was abandoned). Thanks for sharing, you've been busy for sure...I'm hoping to be even half as active for the coming new year!

Thanks. Me too. It was in the process of demolition when I saw it. The entire backside was ripped open, and the basement wall was exposed in the front. My only regret was seeing basement access in my pictures, something I did not see when I was there... 1.

Thanks for stopping by and the kind words guys.... I am doubtful I will see as much in 2019, as there are no extended road trips planned. But time will tell...

Yeah I've posted that one a few times here. I chuckle every time I read it. I did not find bats, but was able to help a trapped bird out. I also followed their directions - I closed and "locked" the door by wrapping the supplied coat hanger around the door knob. The house was mostly clean, and fully furnished with beds neatly made despite obviously not being heated in years. Someone must use it as a hunting or fishing cabin. I felt guilty about being in there - everything about the place screamed abandoned - vines encasing the home, grass uncut, broken windows, and a collapsing roof....

I don't know why but the first one interests and creeps me out the most! The idea of abandoned things under water freaks me out a little! Such a nice set of pictures though
