'Cause you know, all those bumper cars which you aren't allowed to bump people in...

Really love the Hobbit Church (4) though! It tells a story.

Oh My! These are excellent captures. love the Blue lighting in the first shot. Mabels house looks like Mabel could come back any minute. And, then there is that lovely Dome and Radar Love. Just too cool. One of my faves is First comes Love...i remember singing that when i was a kid in first grade. That Boy Doll though!?! kind of creepy lol

Wow, great shots, and perfect captioning! The dolls in the stroller are indeed creepy, but I remember that schoolyard chant for sure. That old car, the Grande Entrance, and slide club are probably my favorites, but they're all keepers and instant classics. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I loved the diner as well. Unfortunately I only had time to get about three shots in there before we got kicked out by the white trash neighbors.

They are go karts, so bumping is not their main function lol.

I really like that little stone church. It is near a large abandoned convent.

Thank you for your kind words as always! I love that church for the way the light comes through the stained glass. It is a extremely photogenic spot. Mabel's house has been vacant since 2014, but was completely untouched. Both of the dolls were pretty high on the creepy scale!

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed looking at them and appreciate the captions!
The car is a 40s era Cadillac.

Thank you! I enjoy coming up with the captions for my shots. I have a lot of fun with it and I think it helps add a bit extra to them.

#2 was fun but also incredibly nerve wracking. As the place still has power and active security rolling around. Also definitely not a place you want to get caught in!

Quite small, but really neat. It is part of a much larger convent property, which is also abandoned. There isn't much to it inside, although I think there is another room we were unable to access. There is a garden with statues behind it. I imagine it was used by the nuns as a secluded place to sit with nature and pray, or whatever it is nuns do on their free time.

I do have some shots from there. Just need to get around to converting them to JPEG so I can upload.

Thanks! That house was a real surprise. We found it completely by accident and from the outside it looked like it would not contain much of interest.

Just goes to show you can never judge a house by its walls!

A few more panels have been broken, likely by kids throwing bricks onto it from the roof, since the first time I went here back in 2012. The water damage in this room, and the entire complex, has also gotten progressively worse. I honestly fear the dome may not last another decade. I hope it can be saved somehow, but I am not optimistic about that actually happening.

Thanks! I always caption my shots. I feel as though it adds that little extra something.
