Don't take my word for it, it's proudly displayed on their public youtube channel.

Yet another classic. but hey if you're friends with them then why dose it matter if they help kill the population. bats < friendship

I can see you really look up to those 15 year olds. Really good role models for exploring, and also for the preservation of cave creature wildlife.

More immature and inaccurate attacks - why am I not surprised? My approach is to treat them as actual human beings who have common interests, instead of leaving threatening comments on their YouTube videos and gossiping about them on this site.

You can either try to be a positive influence with how you act and treat others, or you can sit here anonymously attacking them while changing nothing.

When I was 14 I vandalized a restroom of a local business. Instead of yelling at me, the owners gave me a job (and mercy and dignity) and THAT helped change my attitude and caused me to think about the consequences of my actions. My philosophy is to pay that immense favor forward.

What are you doing to be a positive influence in the lives of those with whose methods you disagree? If you consider yourself a "serious explorer", then prove it by how you treat others less experienced than yourself.

Huh, I guess that's why it falls onto the ground after that happens.

But don't take my word for it, it's proudly displayed on their public youtube channel.

I believe those bats fall under the jurisdiction of the local Game Warden... wonder if he find it funny?
Probably only a matter of time until -everybody- knows.

Stating facts isn't gossip. In this video they are running around a rooftop, yelling, and generally making a disturbance of themselves. According to the video summary they deliberately tried to get caught because it would make a good video, and they were being flippant with the rightfully annoyed security guard.

In this one they claim to have heard a woman screaming at about 6:58, when the sound is clearly the "woop woop" of an ambulance in the distance. They then proceed to spend the rest of the video running in panic claiming that they've "never been so scared in their lives."

Towards the end of this particular video one of them does a backflip off a moving train into a river.

I unfortunately could not find the video of them vaping on a bat. These two videos feature bats, but I didn't see them vape on anything. Granted, I skipped through instead of watching them in their entirety, so it's possible I missed something.

Lastly, their titles are the stereotypical urbex clickbait "Rooftop in Minneapolis [GOT CAUGHT)' or "Candyman Cave (GUN FOUND)."

Now for the observations in their favor. They don't usually show PoEs in the videos, and the ones they DO show (mostly drains) are not easily identifiable just from the surroundings. After watching half a dozen of their videos, I haven't seen them destroy or vandalize a single thing. For the most part they refer to locations by fake if well known names, such as calling it the Tunnel of Terror instead of the "_________ street caves" or something similar.

After observing them in action, my opinion is that they are young, cocky, and want to get views, but they aren't malicious explorers. They are brash and display a certain lack of wisdom, but many of us thought ourselves invincible in our teenage years too. Caution comes with experience. To go against the popular narrative, I don't think they are truly bad explorers- just careless not particularly introspective about consequences. They clearly aren't some kind of hopeless lost cause dead set on destroying urbex, as much as they are careless kids. Granted, perhaps they are different in person. I don't know.

I tried to make an unbiased conclusion based solely on what I saw in their videos, without outside influence from popular opinion. I can't say I agree with a lot of how they act, but I don't think they are in the same vein as scrappers and taggers. That's my two cents, for what this essay is worth.

Granted, if they're messing with endangered species, the whole "careless but not malicious" view goes out the window. Pretty sure "leave no trace" includes "don't hurt the wildlife, especially the federally protected ones."

I watched a full ten minutes of one of the above-linked videos and I'm pretty sure I have cancer, now.

So thanks.

For all the cancer.
