This is one of the first places I can remember seeing photos of when I began browsing exploring forums back in something like 2006/2007. Predictably when I began actually exploring stuff in 2009 it went straight onto the 'to do' list where it sat for years, the vast distance between myself and it thwarting any ideas of going to have a look.
During my recent trip to Scotland however I noticed that I would be staying very close to where this place is, so of course naturally I wanted to go past and see if anything still remained. We decided to check it out before heading to our hotel for the night, and imagine my shock to spot that it was, indeed, still there in some form. All that appeared to have changed was a small area close to the main drive into it had been developed into a gated retirement trailer community.
Fast forward to the next morning and after a trek through the damp undergrowth we were in. I was utterly amazed to see it in the flesh after almost a decade of having it on my list, to actually lay eyes on it in all it's dated glory was pretty awesome. Sadly it wasn't all good news as we discovered that roughly half of the site has been flattened and with a large JCB on site it would appear it's actively being cleared albeit slowly. I didn't venture into as many as I would have liked as somewhat expectedly almost all the wooden floors in them are totally shot.
Still this was a big unexpected tick in my eyes, now I can say I have managed to explore trailer parks in both the USA and UK!

This place reminds me of the parks in Florida after hurricane Charlie, just not as bad.
