Anybody checked this place out? Its been closed for over a year but I havent seen any pictures of the inside.

I love the one of the shutdown date–the melancholy of knowing a hub to hundreds of lives is closing down, like the end of a chapter of a life.
I thought that it shut down in 2010 though?

You mean name-dropping locations? Honestly, this one has such an active security team that I don't think making it public can make it any worse. Everyone I know who tried to explore it in the past few months got caught or had to turn around.

romainpp with the amazing pictures as always. Is this place still good? The eastern side is covered in graffiti on the streetview and it goes past the fence into the property. I'd probably never end up making it out there anyway but I gotta give it a rating on my map.

I haven't gone in a while, but as I mentioned in a previous comment, everyone I know who tried recently got caught by security at some point. I think it's still doable though with some luck.

I think The Glass Plant's days are numbered. I was there a few weeks ago and saw construction workers laying pipe and conduit at the front entrance. Lots of work going on. Looks like it is going to be repurposed. I was at the back of the plant photographing graffiti and there was very little activity there.
