Hello! Also cool abandoned houses (gone soon?)

Greetings fellow explorers!

I'm new to the board, so I'd just like to say hi and get familiar with this forum. I discovered it recently and to be frank, it's super cool and awesome to see all the different places everyone has been!

Anyways, that's not really why I'm making this post. Since I'm not a full member yet, I can't exactly create a new location or attach my images to a specific location. Therefore, I'm posting all my images here for now. These were taken at abandoned houses near Bond Crescent at the edge of Richmond Hill, Ontario. There's so much cool stuff to explore.

While there's not too much left in terms of personal artifacts, the buildings are still really cool to explore nonetheless. There's a bunch of buildings to explore, too - probably 10 or 11, mostly houses, garages, and buildings.

Some interesting things we found there include: a GoodLife Fitness bag (presumably from a squatter, there was a McDonald's Happy Meal toy dated to 2018 from the bag), a newspaper dated to the late 90s, and some utility bills dated surprisingly recently (as late as early-middle of this year). The houses are in complete disarray; someone has done a thorough job of spraying racist graffiti and throwing rocks through every window. There's extensive water damage from flooding in one of the harder-to-access houses. The water has cleared up a little from the first few times I've been there but I wouldn't risk going down there without breathing protection.

Some jokester even went through the trouble of splattering paint on the wall of one of the garages as if it was blood, as can be seen in image (8).

Image (12) shows some gang-related graffiti.

Recently there's been a lot of development around the area, especially the new apartment complex across the street. Generally the area is actually really nice and modern, so I highly doubt this location is going to stay intact for a long time. There is a developer that claimed the houses.

Oh yeah, one final note: sorry that the image quality isn't the best, I don't have a great phone. Maybe I'll try bringing an actual camera to the places I explore next.
