Posted as public, as this and the surrounding properties are actively being demolished. I would bet the buildings will be gone this week. This farmstead in Germantown WI, is actively being demolished. It had a barn and 2 houses. 4 outbuildings and 2 silos were already removed by the time I found this place. The property and surrounding farmland, woods, and several ponds will all be removed, filled, and leveled to make way for a 702,000sq ft production facility on 360 acres for Briggs and Stratton. Briggs is planning to take occupancy in April of 2019.

I'm always too chicken to go into places that are actively being worked on or being demolished Anyway, thanks for capturing and sharing while it was still around!

Buildings were still stable, and it was a holiday weekend. When you throw on a hard hat and an orange vest, passersby take no notice.... ;) Thank for checking out the post and commenting!

i always wonder on places like this ( 2nd house ) what the reason was for the uprooting and leaving pictures and whatnot behind.

In this case, they are leaving because the property is going to be a massive production facility for Briggs and Stratton. Why they would leave everything behind, in a mystery. Property changed hands months ago, and demolition is underway, so it's not like they can come back for their things. The property was sold for $7,500,000 - maybe they decided to buy all new stuff? Who knows. It always makes me sad to see kids toys left behind.
