Beautiful photography and killer explore...Love the blue skies and the mountainous region where this is located. 1, 6 11, 30 and 32 are totally Frame Worthy.

That hill is indeed exhausting...especially in a few feet of snow. Wow, the graff has really crept down into the valley over the past few years.

Posted by VBJag Matter of fact, the bulkhead pressure reading showed the mine was fairly empty. Turning on the faucet revealed clean water too.

Good to hear! That gauge was worryingly high some years back. Walking up to that bulkhead always gave me the creeps.

I wonder how much it varies during wet/dry seasons. And agreed, walking through the thick orange muck in the adit to the bulkhead is not comforting.

This could definitely be a cool place to camp out a night or two and explore the area in detail. Spectacular how quickly nature is taking over in less than 50 years.
