This place is pretty trashed by local kids, but I figured I'd hit it up. Some things are still intact. NOTE: All of these shots are long exposure, using a flashlight to light it up, as I had to go at night. Here's the remains of what used to be the ballroom:
Full size gym with all 6 basketball hoops still hanging:
Finally, the two outdoor pools (only one photographed):
Not documented, but the basement has some bare remains of a rifle/target shooting range. The former bowling alley flooded at one point, and all has been stripped by vandals, so nothing to photograph. All the old scores and records for both the range and the bowling alley remain, and date all the way back to the '80s. There is a playground attached to the pools, perhaps for the club member's children? However, at this point in the year, it is far too overgrown to be photographed. Comments/criticism welcome

Damn this place really got wrecked. What a shame.

Very cool explore. I'd love to see more pics!

WOW, if that is a small country club.....I would love to see the big ones!

Looks a lot more like a YMCA or something like that. Not what I would consider a "country club" with tennis, golf, etc.

It's on a golf course.

It's on a golf course, and all documents found inside are titled, "(named removed) Country Club". The golf course has been taken over by new management, but this old building has been left to rot.

I consider it small in the sense that it is only one building, not a complex

Honestly, it's a real shame to see how quickly a building's state is vandalized, scrapped and trashed. It takes away from the beauty of decay and the feeling of isolation that human abandonment is supposed to create. Thanks for sharing though! Next time include dem basement pics.

I walked around here at one point and peeked in some windows but never went inside. Nice job

It's a huge building on a golf course, built as a country club - two pools, an enormous gymnasium/auditorium, ballroom, bowling alley and all sorts of other stuff. That's in a proper mess now compared to when I was there a few years back.
