Hello fellow hooligans, I joined this site fairly recently in hopes to meet new people to explore with, and have not had any luck. It seems like there hasn't been any conventions in 2018, so that kinda stinks on it's own.
In hopes to meet new people, if you live in NorCal and are looking to have some fun exploring with a new person, PM me! I'd love to meet some of you crazy bastards.

I would if I could. Perhaps someday when I'm not so tied down. There's the annual bunker run convention in SF coming up in September. Definitely would recommend going if you have the chance.

In the Bay Area. Mostly have only been to local spots that I found on my own. Would love to explore other cities especially in the East Bay (SF seems pretty well explored already) with others (don't have full database access yet).

I live in Texas, but I'm up there every thanksgiving and always looking for something to explore while I'm staying at my mom's in Monterey for that week or two. November is still a ways off, but I'm already counting down the days (and looking for locations)!

Ft. Ord was my very first explore when I lived in Monterey - before I knew there was a name for this sort of thing. I still go to Ft Ord (what's left of it now) every November when I'm in town since it's right down the road from my mom's house. Sadly though, each year I come back, there's less and less left of the old Fort Ord...
And I just realized that these posts are kind of old, but I'll go ahead and leave my responses up anyway in case these guys are still around.

Its hard to stay relevant in LA/oc, some of the spots I bookmarked have since been developed. There's always that hospital in Downey, or maybe I'm just getting old.

That's the problem with LA, nothing stays abandoned for long. Downey's still there, and just as locked down as ever. Doesn't stop people from getting in on a semi-regular basis though. Some of my favorite spots in the last couple years were places I found randomly while driving, and then a month later - poof! rubble.

There's an old rocketdyne or some other government contractor facility in SB, would you be down to check it out? As far as I can tell its mostly a bunch of empty concrete pads and a few buildings, but there's a lot of acreage. send me a PM
