This building has been on my radar for years. It sits on an active airport that originally functioned as training location for fighter pilots during WWII, it was commissioned in the early 1940s, it was decommissioned at the end of WWII and then re-commissioned in the early 1950s to serve again as a training facility for single engine jet airplanes for the Korean War. It is now a public airport.
Most of the original structures have been re-purposed, demoed or collapsed.
This building is one of the structures that would house military personal stationed there. There are two of these buildings remaining, both abandoned, one was more recently used as a children's home. This one has sat vacant for many years, and was completely sealed for at least the last five years, when I started paying attention.
Doing a monthly drive by I noticed that the doors were removed, and many windows unboarded. There is equipment on site, and portions were sealed off inside for asbestos abatement. I am guessing that they are preparing to demo this structure as well. 
The inside was pretty boring, second and third floor were housing quarters and they were cookie cutter rooms. Half the second floor was sealed for asbestos removal so I skirted that portion. The third floor was cleaned out, flooring tiles removed as well as original built in features. Third floor also had a lot of standing water that came in through the roof. Roof access was available, but given the amount of water damage I did not venture up the ladder.
Now for a few pics, nothing extraordinary.
First the outside of the building as it has been for a loooong time, doors bolted and some welded shut, and windows very well boarded up. They even caulked the boards to help with rain. This photo was taken in August 2016.

2. The first room I entered. Several of the lower rooms were still boarded up, so very dark, used my flashlight to bounce light off the ceiling with 8 second exposures.

14. Poor Tommy. This is thrid floor, same as the second, many of these rooms had been cleaned out, only a couple still had lockers, and note that the floor tiles are removed. Water on floor is coming in from the roof.

I want to revisit to get better early morning light. Also, sorry some of these photos are dark, I editied some of them in a dark room, they looked super bright to me at the time. lol
