I recently took a trip to southern California, and snapped a few pics of some spots I stopped on along the highway, and I'm curious as to what all you guys would think. I don't have a proper camera, but I am fluent in Photoshop. This is my first post in this form so if I am doing something wrong please let me know. Thank you!1.

#2 - It's a bit hard to tell what the subject is. In my opinion, the framing would have been better if you had the pole not positioned in front of the car. #6 - Your eyes are naturally drawn towards that big patch of light in the center of the image. Because this patch is overexposed, that means the first thing a viewer sees is an uninteresting patch of light. Aside from that, I liked #1 and #3. Since you already have some experience in editing, I would say most of your room for improvement is in the field. It can be hard to fully see how well a shot will turn out in the moment. Thus I generally abide by the rule of take lots and lots of photographs during the explore, and then see what turns out the best while editing. I used to shoot on an older cellphone so I used to even take it as far as taking multiple of the same exact shot in a row so that I could later pick out which of those was more in focus.
