Notes left behind by property owner?

Ground State had a pic of a note that was the namesake of his thread: "Went to Schomberg For Wifi, Be Back In 15 Minutes... Or Never!", and it was followed up with another pic of a note, and then my own. Got me thinking. There has to be more!! Dig 'em up and post them here!

Damn.... That's a doosey! What an idiot. Does he not realize that even if you are trespassing, he is responsible? And admitting malicious intent in a hand written note?! Good luck defending that in court when someone gets hurt, or even worse.... Dumb dumb dumb.

Another dope. You cannot legally hold my possessions, you have no authority other than to call the police. You may get a fine, doubtful you will do community service. Good effing luck with that civil suit - for what time? The time it took to write the message? I am counter suing for the time it took to read it... I also love the effort to waterproof with a ziploc bag, then hammer nails through it.... Genius!!

2nd one I LOVE. That's funny..... He is not going to jail. The only thing he can really prove is that he was in there, so trespassing at best. If there was other evidence that he burgled, then I hope he did go to jail!

So far, the owners sound even less intelligent than the scrappers and penis painters....

One look in any of the windows and it's obvious that the house is full of antiques.

This house has been on our radar for a few years, but is always sealed up tight. We stopped by to check on it this past Monday and much to our surprise found the power to be on and the lawn freshly mowed. The first time that has been the case in probably three years.

Sorry about the glare, took this quick with my phone as we didn't want to stick around to long since someone had obviously been there quite recently.

"you will be prosecuted". Yes, you can press charges on me, but you cannot say I will be prosecuted. That is up to the DA, or judge. Hell - OJ wasn't prosecuted.

With power on, grass cut, and nice furnishings, this looks like a great place to stay away from, as temping as it may be....

Not technically a property owner, but I figured this thread could use one positive note.

This was written by former squatters in the Boblo building in Detroit. They have since moved on to better things, at least I hope. But their note remains.

A friend of mine who lives in Detroit actually met the people when exploring the building once. They ended buying the couple that lived there a pizza and they all sat down to dinner together.

If they explain why he abandoned his church, yes!

Just came across a new one over the weekend. I have not posted the entire explore as of yet. This was found in the garage. It was interesting as there was a usable stainless steel 5 burner grill with a side burner in the same garage. Makes me wonder if this sign was originally put on the street to call out the thieves, then later used to board the window up....

Note to theft victim: It's a wheelbarrow not a wheel barrel....

This is super positive - thank you for sharing! Those people sound awful cool. They also sound not ashamed of their circumstance, likely because they did not accept it as "it is what it is" and used it to their advantage to motivate them into a better life. It would be great if someone knew what happened to them, but based on the attitude portrayed in the note - I feel safe betting they are now doing OK....

Shit happens. Life can suck. But you don't have to accept it. You and only you control your destiny....
