This old power plant has seen better days. Abandoned in the 80s it used to power a local manufacturing facility which has since closed up. Now the neighborhood has emptied with many abandoned houses remaining. Sadly parts of this place are not accessible as scrapers have made off with many of the ladders and scaffolding. Even the gauges and circuitry have been ransacked. The area definitely had a unique vibe. 1

It's worth the trip since the area is so interesting. I wasn't brave enough to go on the roof. It's caving in in some places.

definitely looks like a cool place! I wish the mall was still standing not far from there. This and the mall are what got me interested in urban exploring.

I regret not going to that mall when I had the chance! I don't think this power plant is going anywhere though.

Thanks! I'd recommend it. There's some really interesting places in the surrounding area too.
