Big history nerd here and I figure some of you might share my interest in studying how places change over time. I recently found this web site containing hundreds of historic NTS topo maps of Ontario. https://ocul.on.ca/topomaps/collection/ The years seem to range from early 1900s through to the 1970s. Not a complete set by any means, but the quality of the scans is superb. Let me know if you find them useful.

These are excellent. I live in a neighbourhood that is bisected by GTR, interesting to see how its changed over the last century.

While there's a thread about useful databases...this is one of my favourite websites. Has diagrams, charts, and information on almost every building/skyscraper out there. Make sure you navigate around the world as well! http://skyscraperp.../cities/?cityID=12 Enjoy!

Thanks so much! Been planning an under-construction skyscraper climb in Toronto for some time now. Hope this gives me some insight into what I should hit up.

Speaking of topo maps, has anyone ever considered Fire Insurance Plans?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but someone had posted a link to a similar page, with archived maps of who owned properties 100+ years ago... does anyone remember this? I swear I bookmarked it but I've been searching for it for 3 hours now.
