Looking for places in Montreal

so uh, i know there's technically a whole section dedicated to this but,
unfortunately majority of the buildings are either renovated into industrial buildings and condos are they're just gone. I know there are few places that are still up (such as the silo 5) but I've already visited them and I'm looking forward for 'chill' places that aren't as active. Thanks

I understand exactly how you feel. I was in a similar situation not too long ago. My advice to you:

Get around; travel to as many different areas in and around the city as possible. Ideally, do it by bus or bike because those methods allow you to thoroughly observe your surroundings.

Take notes. See something out of the ordinary? Write it down. Zoning application or development sign? Awesome.

Look up city councilors and their websites. They should list developments they are working on, since big developments demand civic engagement.

Most importantly, keep in mind in cities that are not full of abandoned things, UrbEx can be about more than just that. When pickings don't seem abundant, beggars can't be choosers. You have to make the most of what you do find, and sometimes that can be just as cool if not cooler than what you envisioned yourself wanting to do originally. Try some different things away from the classics. Who knows, maybe you'll enjoy it.

Hope this helps.

One day I got a good camera.
