I'm not asking for abandonments or caves or anything like that. Just cool places to take pictures in Minneapolis. Stuff like beautiful scenery or cool graffiti and stuff.
If there is something I want to do then Ill do it and if there is something I don't want to do than I wont do it. That's the Dandy way baby. |

There are no more cool places in MSP.

Finding urbex locations is one thing but finding a cool place for prom pics is way harder then just driving around lol

For prom pics? Mill Ruins Park and the big spoon are pretty much the main two places. Otherwise, consider Franconia Sculpture Park for something a little more unique.

im assuming this is for your senior pictures (I could be wrong) I would recommend theodore wirth park, they have many bridges with "Cool graffiti" and theres a rusty old car in the woods if you can find it, and some very beautiful trails through woods.

If I remember, there are some pretty cool pieces under the 494 bridge on the Minneapolis side.

Prospect water tower is good place. The tower itself is amazing and you can see the entire city from up there. Stone Arch Bridge or under 35W is cool too. All these places her better at night in my opinion.

These are meant to be non-privet locations. Most of the stuff that is in this thread (to my knowledge) are public areas. I said I didn't want abandonments. Just cool places around town to take prom pics.

no one knows how to use google apparently. do research on your own just like everyone else does. non abandoned or whatever it may be.

I did do research previously. But lots of people from my school were taking pictures there already. So the more obscure places I got from this thread (Franconia Sculpture Park and Theodore Wirth Park) were very helpful.

There's nothing wrong with asking. There are alot of places that you would never come across doing a basic search. For example if you decide to go to Theodore Wirth Park, there's something there called a quaking bog. The ground there moves by itself like you're walking on a waterbed or trampoline. They aren't very common and it's a very unique experience. If you were to do a search on quaking bog specifically it would probably come up. However, just doing a basic Google search you'd likely never find it. There's also a wildflower Garden kind of by the quaking bog. It's supposed to be pretty nice but it's always closed for the night when I get there so I haven't seen it personally.
