Much of 2017 was relatively slow-going in regards to exploring, as school and work often took precedent over my adventures. However, as autumn rolled around, my upcoming semester abroad and the impending demolition of one of my favorite locations kicked me right back into gear. With newfound enthusiasm, I was able to knock a couple new places off my to-do list. As the weather grew colder, I also spent lots of time at some old favorites, continuing to document them and practice my photography. Hundreds of miles on the road, wet shoes, bruises, and scuffs on my camera were all worth it to get back out there, even if it took the loss of a favorite location to get me motivated. Time appreciating what we still have is certainly time well spent.

Amazing photos. I don't know why but, photos like #11 are my favorite. Just love seeing how the buildings crumble but then I am sad it is crumbling.
