In Victoria BC there is a little area where 4 abandoned homes sit. two of them are mobile homes (I presume) and the other two area normal fixed structure homes. I can have a tendency to be a bit cavalier about entering these types of buildings, especially if they are not overly visible or if the signs that they are abandoned and forgotten are obvious, but I didn't in this case. These buildings are so obviously abandoned and forgotten (no effort whatsoever to put "No Trespassing" signs up) but they were boarded up with extreme care and diligence so as to prevent the ability of even being able to see inside. The chipboard was cut to spec for doors and windows. I did not bother to enter just in case I managed to find something I wasn't supposed to.

Nice find/pictures. No idea where this is, but I'd guess Highlands? That mini-turret one looks like it might be worth a closer look...

Great find and photos. If in your shoes, I'd only share this location with those you trust. Agreed, wonder what's in those houses...

Great shots! Wonder why it was abandoned?
Before my current employment I worked with antiques, so I have a general knowledge of older items. "Never fear shadows. They simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby. Ruth E. Renkel" |
