Kentucky Waste Water Treatment Plant

I have always meant to post this but never did. This was actually a second date with my current girlfriend.

Little back story. My girlfriend and I love bourbon. We have visited almost every distillery in Kentucky and have driven the hidden roads plenty of times. We stumbled across this way back in the distance, maybe a quarter mile off the road. This was our first exploration and, so far, has been the best of them all.

As best I can tell, this was some sort of waste water treatment plant/station. I am not quite sure how it worked and could not find much information on it.

This plant is near the Old Taylor distillery that is currently being renovated

We have since driven past it several times and it still appears to be intact. My girlfriend and I are planning to visit again once things warm up and dry out a bit.
