I have been contemplating putting this on here but I decided that I might as well do it. Anyway, about a month ago my friend showed me this old go-cart track. There wasn't much left and most of it is overgrown. We took his dog for a walk and I was able to get a few pictures. Unfortunately I wasn't there for too long but I think I got the main points.

LOL I have a few pics of me holding a garter snake I've encountered while hiking. It's about the only snake we have up here.

Yeah they're pretty one dimensional as snakes go.
The rattler is interesting and all tricked out.
I've held a Texas blind snake, that's the strangest snake I ever saw. Full grown 8 to 10 inches max, and iridescent pink, they glow under UV too.
You got some interesting warm blooded critters up there though.
Clearings can be good areas to just sit quietly and see what comes along.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

This looks pretty sweet. I am gonna have to check this out. Are any of the associated structures still around or have they all been torn down??
