Hey, I was wondering if anyone had any info or even a map of the abandoned subway system in Rochester? Thanks!

A quick Google search will tell you all you need to know. It is currently being sealed up however, not sure if it is still accessible.

Ok thank you so much for the info. I had no clue that it was being sealed

I have tons of pictures! You should start by taking a walk along the genesee River Trail. The bridge is open and runs under the historic library, and the tunnel runs about a mile back to a service entrance by the highway. I drove up from MA a month ago to check it out, it was totally worth the 6 hour drive.

Thank you so much

no prob! didnt have my bookmarks handy on my work computer the other day, but check out the second image on the link below, the yellow section on the map is the only part of the tunnel still open today. really makes me wish i got to see it with all the different tunnels and rooms still open. side note: about halfway down the tunnel (VERY dark, bring a 1000> lumen flashlight with you) theres the remains of a station. you can tell its the station because the supports for the ceiling are more decorated and round. its a cool sight!

There's quite a few other places in Rochester, a few are on the UER DB but majority of them are demolished like the delco complex.

As of last summer it was still doable. Nothing amazing, however.
