Moving to Fresno

Moving my production company from the east coast to the west. Looking forward to some prime exploring weather compared to the cold northeast! The size alone I feel like the west coast must be a great place to explore. Anyone been to both the east and west? What did you like better? I've never been to California. Just up and moving there next month driving out.

Don't get your hopes up. California real estate prices = places get demolished quickly after they're abandoned. There are some gems but they're few and far between. We have some pretty good military and industrial sites, but nothing comes close to the history of an east coast location. In other words, you're not going to find Kirkbride-quality here.

Can't beat the weather though.

Well the unfortunate part with the east coast is there's only so much land / so many buildings that are worth checking out and only so much time where there's good weather. So I'm ready to move on from Kirkbridge buildings, I've seen a few and most are being demolished anyways now.

I've done a little exploring in the east and it's different here. Not nearly the same sort of places and to reiterate they get demolished quickly. Welcome though! The Central Valley does have some finds!

I'm moving out to Phoenix soon, and this is basically what I've found out as well. I'm gonna miss the east coast, but just means trips back to explore I guess.
