Quick stop at an abandoned Brothel. I did not tell my kids what we were exploring,just that it was abandoned. Jacuzzi in the middle of a room was the highlight.1.

Yah,It's much larger than I thought at first. I try to stop at least one abandoned site when on a road trip. The kids like it as long as it's daytime. Wife not so much.

Is there enough left of that building to even know what it was? Seems pretty bare to me, but if you had fun, you had fun. It's a treat to explore a kind of place like a strip club or brothel, even though you may not want to touch anything.

Someone left a note on a wall detailing the history of the building and what it used to be. Otherwise I wouldn't have known.

I'm thinking that it would be pretty awesome for him to go back to school and share that his dad took him to a whorehouse for Christmas break. That site doesn't look like much from the outside but it is pretty cool on the inside. The one place I didn't stop but should have was the other abandoned brothel that has the airplane sitting out front. I didn't see a note on the wall with the history, but people have torn that place up pretty good too.

I got shots of the airplane quite a number of years ago. Even back then it was pretty torn up but still a good photo shoot. I pass it every time we head up to our mine but I haven't stopped for a closer look.
